Job summary

The Atlantic District is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent in Bowie, Maryland, to build lasting relationships with neighbors and local businesses. You will listen to stories, assess needs, and plan for the future while delivering peace of mind and trusted advisory service.

You will engage the community, attend events, and collaborate with a supportive team focused on growth, integrity, and client success. A license and strong communication drive are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Proven track record of success in sales roles.
• Strong comfort level with public speaking and networking within the community.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• High level of self-motivation and organizational ability.
• Proficiency in standard office software and client management tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage with local residents to understand their insurance needs and provide meaningful protection.
• Develop and grow a client base by building lasting relationships within the Bowie community.
• Evaluate current coverage plans and offer thoughtful, personalized recommendations for improvement.
• Attend local events and networking functions to serve as the face of The Atlantic District.
• Follow up with prospects and clients consistently to ensure goals are met and questions answered.
• Collaborate with our office team to streamline processes and share ideas for serving policyholders better.
