Job summary

The Atlantic District in Blacksburg, Virginia is seeking an Insurance Agent to lead growth, operations, and client service for a local Farmers agency. You will build meaningful relationships, design coverage for families and businesses, and manage the client experience through a hands-on, community-focused approach.

You will leverage your license and market knowledge to drive new business, retain existing policies, and collaborate with leadership to meet growth goals in the Blacksburg area.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property & Casualty license.
• Proven history of managing client relationships and sales pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Blacksburg market dynamics.
• Proficiency with quoting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with agency management systems or CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients in Blacksburg to assess insurance needs.
• Design customized coverage solutions for families and businesses.
• Review existing policy portfolios to ensure proper coverage as life evolves.
• Maintain open communications with policyholders to resolve questions promptly.
