Job summary

Residential Services Incorporated seeks dedicated professionals to support individuals with intellectual disabilities in living, working, and engaging with their communities. You will teach life skills, assist with employment readiness, and coordinate services with families and medical providers.

Applicants should have a social services background, at least 2 years of experience as a DSP, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Background in social work or related human services required.
• Minimum 2 years as a DSP or similar role.
• Experience with case management software or community resource databases.
• Excellent communication and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Teach life skills, social abilities, self-advocacy, and work readiness.
• Connect clients to public transit, libraries, healthcare, recreational programs, and community events.
• Assist clients in finding, securing, and retaining jobs in inclusive workplaces.
• Partner with family members, case managers, medical providers, to ensure needs are met.
• Promote client dignity, autonomy, and civil rights under ADA.
