Job Description: Community Inclusion Facilitator (CIF)

As a Community Inclusion Facilitator (CIF), you will provide vocational and/or skills training to individuals with developmental disabilities. Current CIF Samantha G. states, “During a typical day in the program, we work toward the individual’s goals such as art, shopping, going to work, and much more.” CIF Helen B. and Stella M. add that goals also include money management, exercise, communication, cooking, and gaining skills to become more independent.

Other CIF duties include:

1. Picking up and dropping off clients according to their schedules
2. Providing constant supervision
3. Assisting with personal hygiene when needed
4. Charting clients’ goals and objectives progress
