Job Title: Telehealth Clinical Social Worker

Our mission at ORTELE is to provide convenient and cost effective access to specialty medical care with measurable outcomes and high quality care with every virtual visit.

Ortele’s telemedicine platform provides a secure, HIPAA-compliant encounter between patient and clinician, facilitating management of chronic conditions through remote connected care. Virtual visits are reimbursed by 3rd party payers, much like a traditional office visit.

Position Overview:

Under general direction and established policies, the Telehealth Clinical Social Worker assesses and addresses the psychosocial needs of patients and their families through remote platforms. This includes providing psychosocial evaluations, crisis interventions, psychotherapeutic support, counseling, and psychotherapy to patients and their families via telehealth services.

You will ensure continuity of care through discharge planning, collaborative care, and connections to appropriate resources.

The qualified candidate will provide counseling services to ORTELE’s patients using telemedicine, including a secure two-way video encounter. Clinical Social Workers are exposed to a wide variety of cases, with sufficient opportunity for patient education and follow-up to maintain a continuity of care.

The candidate will have experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling typically earned from three years outpatient experience and will contribute to ORTELE’s successful growth and clinical operating activities. This part-time, remote position (from your current office or home), features an excellent opportunity for career/life balance. Our compensation includes a competitive rate per patient appointment and insurance coverage for care provided on Ortele cases.
