Job summary

Michigan Farm Bureau seeks a Community Engagement + Impact Specialist to advance hunger relief, volunteerism, and related programs. You will facilitate programs, coordinate grants, steward partners and donors, manage data, and support fundraising and county farm bureau activities.

The role involves volunteer logistics, data management, and reporting to help achieve organizational goals while promoting Venison Donation Grants and School Food Club grants.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of professional work experience.
• Experience with CRM programs such as Volunteer Hub or Raiser's Edge.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, administrative, and programmatic support for hunger relief and volunteerism initiatives.
• Coordinate grant research, writing, submission, tracking and reporting.
• Support donor stewardship, timely acknowledgments, and donor records maintenance.
• Manage volunteer data, background checks, hours, and related records.
• Promote grants and programs like Venison Donation Grants and School Food Club grants.
