Fresh Rescue of Michigan is seeking an Agricultural & Community Outreach Specialist on a part-time contract to help coordinate food rescue across Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties. You will work with growers, farmers markets, and local partners to arrange donations and ensure timely delivery to food pantries and shelters.

The role emphasizes community engagement, problem solving, and building lasting relationships with volunteers and agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience and relationships in agriculture or food production.
• Ability to work with people and solve problems in a community setting.
• Interest in food access and food systems.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with growers, farmers market managers, and food businesses to arrange donations.
• Build and maintain relationships with volunteers and local agencies.
• Assist with scheduling pickups and deliveries to food pantries and shelters.
• Represent FRoM in community events and partnerships across three counties.
