H&R Block is seeking a Program Manager, Community Impact to bring our community commitment to life. You will support strategy, planning and execution across Make Every Block Better, Belonging Group volunteerism, and partner programs.

You will coordinate volunteer experiences, manage calendars, and build relationships with nonprofit partners and internal teams to drive measurable community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in community impact, nonprofit, partnerships, or program management.
• 5+ years of experience in community engagement, volunteer programs, corporate citizenship, nonprofit partnerships, or related field.
• Experience managing corporate volunteer programs, giving platforms, community investment efforts or enterprise-wide associate engagement programs.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage timelines, budgets, details, stakeholders and multiple priorities.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with nonprofit partners, community organizations, associates, field leaders, franchise partners and cross-functional teams.
• Clear, thoughtful communication with updates, recaps, toolkits and materials that help others understand and engage in the work.
• Comfort using data, dashboards and impact reporting to measure participation, outcomes and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborative, service-minded approach with strong attention to detail, a bias for follow through and a passion for helping associates connect with their communities.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day program operations, including planning, coordination, tracking, follow-up and execution support across key initiatives.
• Support the Director of Corporate Impact in advancing the overall strategy, focusing on volunteerism, associate engagement, Belonging Group participation and local connections.
• Manage the planning calendar, project plans, timelines and deliverables for Make Every Block Better and related programs.
• Coordinate volunteer experiences from intake through execution, including events, partner needs, communications, participation tracking and post-event recaps.
• Serve as the central point of coordination for requests, opportunities and activations with the Director of Corporate Impact.
• Partner with field, franchise and corporate teams to identify local service opportunities and provide guidance and support.
• Identify and recommend strategic nonprofit and community partnerships while managing partner relationships and documenting commitments.
• Track budgets, invoices, partner payments, participation, outcomes for reporting and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute associate engagement initiatives; coordinate with Marketing and Communications to promote opportunities and share impact stories.
• Prepare leader-ready updates, recaps, dashboards and recommendations highlighting progress and risks.
