Job summary

United Way Of Santa Barbara County is seeking a Community Impact Coordinator to assist in planning and implementing our youth and family programs, including VITA, Holiday drives, and learning centers.

The role focuses on logistics, data collection, and collaboration with staff, volunteers, and partners to deliver inclusive, outcome-driven services that strengthen communities in Santa Barbara County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, nonprofit management, public administration, education, or related field.
• Experience in youth-serving settings such as classrooms or afterschool programs is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse staff, volunteers, and partners.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing community programs and curricula.
• Coordinate scheduling, supplies, inventory, and data collection.
• Engage volunteers and stakeholders and maintain program records.
• Support outreach to participants, seasonal staff, and community events.
• Monitor budgets and ensure fiscal responsible management.
• Represent United Way at events and promote program participation.
