Job summary

CASA First in Santa Fe County seeks a Volunteer Supervisor to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers across the CASA and Abrigo Advocate programs. You’ll manage case support, data, and resource coordination while partnering with community organizations for program impact.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in nonprofit settings, with strong communication skills and trauma-informed practice. The position offers a 32-hour work week and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years of nonprofit program management or volunteer supervision experience.
• Experience working with children and youth preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise volunteers with empathy.
• Experience maintaining records and data-tracking systems.
• Grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches.
• Willingness to relocate to Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, or Los Alamos County.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers.
• Provide training, supervision, and support to volunteers.
• Oversee case management support and data management.
• Coordinate community partnerships and program operations.
• Prepare program reports and statistics.
• Represent CASA First at community meetings and events.
• Ensure compliance with CASA standards and reporting data.
