Commonwealth Senior Living is recruiting for a full-time Housekeeper at our Richmond, VA community. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe environment across all resident areas, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• High school graduate or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions with established procedures as assigned.
• Follow safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment.
• Clean floors, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and disinfecting.
• Clean carpets through vacuuming, shampooing, and disinfecting.
• Clean and polish furnishings in hallways, stairways and elevator areas.
• Clean resident rooms and bathrooms, including sanitizing surfaces.
• Collect trash from rooms, offices, lounges, and bathrooms daily.
• Report needed repairs to maintenance personnel or Executive Director.
• Keep equipment, storage areas and carts clean and organized.
