Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living at South Boston is hosting Open Interviews every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 511 Cedar Grove Road, Farnham VA 22460. We are seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment across the community per established procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions with established procedures as assigned.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Clean floors and carpets, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and disinfecting.
• Clean resident rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing bathrooms and surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash daily.
• Report repairs to maintenance personnel and keep areas clean and uncluttered.
