The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to work with various departments during Walk-In-Wednesdays recruiting events. Responsibilities include floor and carpet care, room cleaning, linen laundering, trash removal, and reporting

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions with established procedures as assigned.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing and disinfecting.
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean and polish furnishings in hallways and in stairways/elevator where applicable.
• Clean resident rooms, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, sanitizing bathrooms, mirrors and pictures.
• Collect all trash from rooms, offices, lounges, and bathrooms daily.
• Report any needed repairs to maintenance personnel or Executive Director.
• Launder community linens as needed.
• Report accidents/incidents to Executive Director on day of occurrence.
