Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Virginia Beach is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in resident apartments and common areas. Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry assistance, and reporting maintenance needs to the supervisor.

The role requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work well in a team, and lift up to 25 lbs. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, and proper hygiene and uniforms are provided.

Qualificações

• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.

• Polite and courteous to residents, visitors, co-workers and management.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Clean common living areas and resident apartments in the community.
• Oversee cleaning of the entire facility, with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Complete maintenance request reports when needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to housekeeping supervisor.
• Operate the laundry equipment when needed.
• Report inadequate quantities of supplies to housekeeping supervisor.
• Use only approved cleaning products and store supplies properly.
• Clean office areas when assigned.
• Dust and clean all window blinds in the community.
• Dust furniture, shelves, etc. in resident apartments and common areas.
• Vacuum common areas and resident apartments.
• Keep common areas and resident bathrooms clean.
• Clean apartments at resident move-out.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain resident privacy/confidentiality and follow policies on release of information.
• Other duties as assigned
