Commonwealth Senior Living in South Boston, VA is seeking a full-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for residents. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to contribute to a caring community.

The role includes daily cleaning tasks, adherence to safety guidelines, support for dining and activity spaces, and timely reporting of repairs. Walk-in Wednesday events provide a convenient way to explore opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• High school graduate or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions with established procedures as assigned.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing and disinfecting.
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean and polish furnishings in hallways, stairways, and elevator areas.
• Clean resident rooms, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Collect all trash from rooms, offices, lounges, and bathrooms daily.
• Report needed repairs to maintenance personnel or Executive Director.
• Keep housekeeping equipment and storage areas clean and organized; report hazards.
• Respond to residents’ needs as requested.
• Launder community linens as needed.
• Inform Executive Director of supply needs promptly.
