Job summary

Health Care For the Homeless Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse in Baltimore, MD to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve client health through education, medication administration, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred; Associates in Nursing required plus 5 years of relevant work experience may be substituted.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical tasks including client education, medication administration, vaccine administration, and nursing assessments.
• Accurately assess client’s needs and coordinate access to appropriate services.
• Deliver health education and counseling, including trauma‑informed approaches and motivational interviewing when warranted.
• Participate on an integrated multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and contribute to case conferences.
• Complete documentation of services in the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
