Job summary

Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics (SBNC) is seeking a Wellness Navigator to increase community awareness of SBNC services in Santa Barbara. You will assist with referrals, Medi-Cal enrollment, and overcoming access barriers, while helping design and present health promotion programs.

The role emphasizes outreach to non-profits, schools, and community groups, with a focus on bilingual outreach and coordination of education sessions and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A.A. degree preferred.
• Minimum one year administrative assistant experience required or related experience and/or training.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish; bicultural preferred; proficient with standard software.

Responsibilities

• Promote SBNC programs and services to the community.
• Coordinate referrals to community services and Medi-Cal enrollment.
• Facilitate health promotion classes and community presentations.
• Attend meetings and prepare monthly statistics reports.
• Develop outreach materials and coordinate events.
