Job summary

CHAS Health seeks a committed Medical Assistant to support patient care at our community clinics. You will greet patients, prep them for providers, and assist with injections and basic lab work, while maintaining clean, ready exam rooms and efficient patient flow.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, teamwork, and accurate documentation within a busy community health setting. WA-certified MA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of medical assistant training through WA-approved program or ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited college program.
• Certification required within 120 days of hire (AAMA/NHA/NCCT).
• Washington locations require Medical Assistant – Certified credential.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms; inform of delays.
• Prepare patients for providers and maintain efficient patient flow.
• Perform phlebotomy and lab procedures as directed.
• Perform injections and immunizations; document administration.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for patients.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient education.
