CHAS Health is hiring a Medical Assistant-Certified (Float) in Spokane, WA. The role includes greeting patients, preparing them for providers, and supporting care teams across clinics. You will perform phlebotomy, injections, immunizations, and assist with procedures while ensuring clinic readiness and safety.

Eligible candidates must complete MA training and obtain certification within 120 days, with WA MA-C credential preferred. Experience in community health and EHR familiarity are desired.

Formación

• Completion of medical assistant training through an approved program.
• Certification within 120 days of hire (AAMA, NHA, NCCT or WA MA-C).
• WA MA-C credential issued by WA DOH preferred.
• Experience in a community health clinic preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems preferred.
• Strong customer service and teamwork required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and escort to exam room, update on delays.
• Prepare patients for provider and assist during visits.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic lab procedures as directed.
• Administer injections and immunizations and document them.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Assist provider with procedures and patient education.
• Process prescription refills under provider approval.
• Coordinate referrals and required documentation.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage; handle sharps and spills.
