Wilmington Community Clinic is seeking an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist I to connect uninsured and under-insured individuals with affordable health coverage and essential care. You will educate and assist with Medi-Cal and ACA applications, working in clinic and community settings to overcome barriers and ensure enrollment.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, strong communication, and community outreach experience, with a focus on underserved populations.

Competenze

• CAA or Covered California assister certification training after hire.
• CCHI Health Access Assister certification preferred.
• Experience with enrollment/outreach for immigrant or underserved populations preferred.
• Experience with event coordination, presentation or public speaking.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Mansioni

• Manage enrollment activities and enroll patients into Medi-Cal/ ACA marketplace and other programs.
• Provide structured patient education on health coverage and renewal assistance.
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets to track outreach calls and enrollments.
• Distribute outreach materials to build coverage option awareness.
• Develop and attend community events to promote coverage options and referrals.
• Collaborate with local organizations to raise awareness of coverage options.
