Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a Program Specialist for Community Health Data and Analytics to build dashboards and reporting interfaces.

You will analyze data to support community health initiatives, work with Magoon Institute leadership, and help advance health equity across Chicago’s children and families. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community health programming or engagement; project management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and travel within Chicago.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 software required.
• Experience with database management and survey software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with community partners to identify health priorities and design engagement strategies.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate community health initiatives aligning with organizational mission.
• Liaise with partners to ensure equitable access to resources and services.
• Strengthen relationships with community orgs, educational institutions, faith groups, and providers.
• Coordinate trainings, workshops, forums and curricula to promote inclusive participation.
• Oversee program operations, logistics, budgeting and timely reporting.
• Provide admin support including meetings, notes, and action items.
• Develop communications and social media strategies to raise awareness.
• Manage program evaluation by data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Support grant writing and philanthropy reporting with leadership.
• Mentor program assistants, students and volunteers.
• Represent Lurie Children’s in coalitions and initiatives.
• Participate in regular leadership check-ins and cross-functional alignment.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
