Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the community’s grounds and curb appeal. The role is non-exempt (hourly) and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager. You will perform daily grounds and building upkeep and support make-ready tasks as needed.

Expect to work outdoors in varying weather, operate safely per OSHA standards, and maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times. Salary ranges from $13.60 to $23.52 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean common, amenity and ground areas daily; water and upkeep landscaping as instructed; spread salt to prevent ice buildup; rake, sweep, shovel as needed.
• Daily upkeep of community buildings and grounds including cleaning and removing trash.
• Care, maintenance and inventory of supplies and equipment owned by the community and/or the company.
• Assist with make-ready and miscellaneous duties when requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager; perform other duties.

Education

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
