Job summary

CSI Support & Development seeks a Liaison (Property Manager) in Michigan to promote cooperative principles and educate resident-members to participate in management. This role serves downriver co-ops including Ecorse, Riverview, Southgate, Wyandotte, and Trenton.

You will oversee daily property operations, budgets, staff, and vendor payments; ensure excellent customer service; supervise volunteers; and prepare monthly reports while maintaining compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or with a team and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the properties.
• Maintain and store documentation effectively.
• Oversee onsite paid staff and contractors.
• Complete annual budgets and monitor monthly finances.
• Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain positive resident-member relationships.
• Promote volunteer engagement and provide ongoing support within our cooperative system.
• General oversight and education of co-op volunteers.
• Review waitlist with leasing chairs to ensure full occupancy.
• Review vendor invoices for payment approval.
• Conduct and oversee general inspections.
• Write monthly co-op report about overall operations.
