Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee financial operations and support the Community Manager in day-to-day activities at a San Francisco property.

The role requires 1-3 years in property management, with a focus on collections, vendor management, and occupancy reporting, using Yardi/OneSite software. This is a full-time, on-site position with strong growth prospects and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management that demonstrates the application of community management, sales, marketing, and customer service background sufficient to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of an apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily transactions and tasks related to financial operation of the community: collecting and posting rent, deposits, reconciliations, and payables.
• Operates property management software and ensures data integrity.
• Reviews resident accounts to maximize revenue and enforce leases.
• Reviews and processes vendor invoices for payment with proper approvals.
• Evictions and move-outs in accordance with legal requirements and company policy.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries and issues.
• Acts as on-site supervisor in the absence of the community manager.
