Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician to join a patient-centered, community-based healthcare organization in Washington. This permanent, full-time role emphasizes team-based care, development of clinical standards, and adherence to federal/state regulations.

The physician will lead diagnostic and treatment coordination, stay current with CDC guidelines, and participate in on-call coverage while fostering strong relationships with staff and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with an ACGME residency (required).
• Board certified in Family Medicine (required).
• Active, unrestricted Washington state medical license (required).
• Unrestricted DEA registration with prescriptive authority (required).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice after training (required).

Responsibilities

• Render professional services within scope and in compliance with laws and standards.
• Provide continuous care and supervise diagnostic and treatment services.
• Stay current on CDC guidelines and disseminate updates to staff.
• Complete all medical records in a timely manner per policy.
• Deliver full-time clinical practice; outside speaking or lecturing allowed only if not affecting practice.
• Provide clinical consultation and answer treatment questions.
• Participate in peer review to maintain clinical privileges.
• Review test results and coordinate follow-up care for absent providers.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage with other physicians.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families about procedures.
• Contribute to planning and policy for improved medical management.
• Build relationships with referral sources and ensure proper follow-up.
• Attend conferences and continuing education events.
• Improve patient flow and overall patient/family experience.
