Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks an experienced Family Medicine Physician to join a patient-centered, community-based health organization in Washington. The role emphasizes team-based care and leadership in clinical standards, policies, and regulatory compliance, with relocation assistance available.

The physician will work full-time in a permanent role, coordinate diagnostics and treatment, and participate in continuous quality improvement and education within a PCMH framework.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine with completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program.
• Board certified in Family Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington.
• Unrestricted DEA registration with prescriptive authority.
• Qualifies for FTCA or equivalent professional liability coverage.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice post-training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Render professional services within scope of training in compliance with applicable laws and current standards.
• Provide continuous care and supervision to patients; direct and coordinate diagnostic and treatment services.
• Stay current on CDC guidelines, infectious disease developments, and pharmaceutical updates and disseminate to staff.
• Complete all medical records in a timely manner per organizational policy.
• Devote full-time efforts to clinical practice; outside speaking or lecturing permitted if it doesn't affect practice.
• Provide clinical consultation to other providers and be available for diagnosis and treatment questions.
• Participate in peer review processes for maintenance of clinical privileges.
• Review test results and follow up on patient care as needed.
• Participate in call coverage on a rotating basis with other physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues; explain procedures and treatments.
• Support planning of goals and policies to improve medical management.
• Build relationships with referral sources and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Attend conferences/seminars for continuing education.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient flow and overall experience.
• Foster positive interdepartmental relationships and care coordination.
