Job summary

The Idea Kitchen in Larchmont, NY is seeking a Community Manager to be the first face members meet each day and the trusted go-to for space needs.

You'll run on-site operations five days a week, greet members by name, host events, manage bookings, and coordinate with vendors to keep the space immaculate and welcoming. You'll also know members by name and anticipate their needs.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in hospitality, retail, real estate, sales, or a similar service environment. Coworking experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests by name, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Keep the space tidy and guest-ready at all times (kitchen, reception, restrooms).
• Proactively check in with members to prevent friction and address concerns.
• Resolve member issues calmly and promptly and know when to escalate.
• Plan and run community events and small touches to foster belonging.
• Manage daily operations: bookings, mail, and facilities issues.
• Sell memberships and manage inbound leads, supporting retention.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and communicate with ownership.
