Job summary

Domain Companies, home to The Shop Workspace, is seeking a Community Specialist to ensure an exceptional member experience at our New Orleans location. You’ll welcome members, run tours, onboard new arrivals, and help coordinate events with a warm, professional touch.

You’ll report to the Community Manager and work with the Operations Manager to uphold standards, manage bookings, inventory, and vendor coordination in a hospitality-forward environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hospitality, coworking, customer service or events.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with constant interruptions while keeping the details right.
• Comfortable with technology; experience with HubSpot or coworking software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members, guests and visitors with exceptional hospitality and clear, friendly communication.
• Serve as the first point of contact for member questions and requests, resolving what you can and routing the rest.
• Run move-ins, move-outs, member orientation and new member onboarding.
• Know members by name and share what you hear with the Community Manager and leadership team.
• Maintain the space, equipment and amenities to the highest standard at all times.
• Complete daily opening, closing and walkthrough checklists to standards; track and restock inventory.
• Report maintenance and vendor issues promptly and coordinate on-site access for vendors and technicians.
• Conduct in-person tours and trial days that show The Shop at its best; log notes for sales follow-up.
• Pass along warm leads, referrals and member expansion signals.
