Avanath is seeking a collaborative Assistant Community Manager to support overall operations of a residential community. You will handle leasing support, rent processing, reporting, and marketing while supervising staff in the Community Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit program knowledge required.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Thorough understanding of landlord/tenant law.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws.
• Superior interpersonal skills; adaptable and professional.
• Resourceful and organized.
• Solid computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, email.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide A+ customer service to residents at all times.
• Manage resident satisfaction and retention; respond to inquiries promptly.
• Serve as resource on community issues affecting living experience and rent payments.
• Organize and execute resident appreciation events.
• Maintain confidential resident files and handle inquiries at front desk.
• Assist with leasing duties, including tours for prospective residents.
