Avanath Capital Management, LLC seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support resident relations, leasing, rent processing, and property operations. You will contribute to customer service excellence, assist with monthly reporting, and help ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Community Manager.
• LIHTC/Tax Credit Program Knowledge required.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer service dedication.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection background.
• Understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing Laws.
• Superior interpersonal skills and organized work style.
• Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, email; working knowledge of Yardi Voyager.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident relations and customer service to promote satisfaction and retention.
• Support leasing duties, including tours for prospective residents.
• Handle monetary transactions: rents, deposits, and other income.
• Review resident files and enforce lease agreements; manage delinquencies.
• Assist with monthly projections, vacancy inspection, and unit readiness.
• Lead as needed in Community Manager’s absence; support staff operations.
