Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Maryland is offering a VISTA role to support the Amplifying Client Voices project, focusing on client feedback and engagement. You will help craft a monthly newsletter and social media content, and develop methods to collect input from clients to influence programs.

You’ll work with the community engagement team, design survey tools, and help create SOPs to sustain client-driven initiatives that empower refugees and immigrants and strengthen program

Qualifications

• Prior experience and interest in community engagement and/or communications preferred.
• Prior experience and interest working with refugees and immigrants preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Produce a monthly external newsletter and social media posts.
• Identify client engagement strategies and draft a proposal to integrate client feedback.
• Design a client feedback method and create a client survey model.
• Develop SOPs to integrate the client feedback mechanism into programming.
