Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Community Development, Social Work, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in community engagement, outreach or related role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to engage community members and encourage participation in programs and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a network of partners to create referral reciprocity or gateway for WFS clients.
• Evaluate individuals' needs to determine suitable services and partner connections.
• Outreach and promote WFS services at community events.
• Present WFS services at community meetings, events, and forums.
• Referral Coordination to connect individuals with appropriate services, resources, and partners based on needs.
• Build and maintain relationships within communities in the region.
• Organize and coordinate community events, workshops, and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align community engagement with Workforce Solutions goals.
• Collect and analyze feedback to determine effectiveness and areas of improvement.
• Convene and facilitate workshops, seminars, and other activities.
• Assist with marketing and communication efforts.
• Maintain the centralized calendar of events and activities.
• Maintain accurate records, including documentation of activities and outcomes.
