Job summary

BakerRipley is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to foster connections across thirteen counties. You will develop strategies to engage community members, coordinate events, and build a strong network of partners to support Workforce Solutions goals.

You will collaborate with internal teams, track outcomes, and help promote services at events and forums, ensuring effective outreach and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred) in a related field (e.g., Communications, Community Development, Social Work) or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of relative experience in community engagement, outreach or related role

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to engage community members and encourage participation in programs and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a network of partners for referrals and gateway opportunities for clients.
• Evaluate individuals' needs to determine suitable services and partner connections.
• Outreach and promote services at community events.
• Present services at community meetings, events, and forums.
• Coordinate referrals to connect individuals with appropriate services and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships within communities in the region.
• Organize and coordinate community events, workshops, and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align engagement efforts with goals.
• Collect and analyze feedback to determine effectiveness and areas of improvement.
• Convene and facilitate workshops and other activities.
• Assist with marketing and communication efforts.
• Maintain calendar of events and activities.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and outcomes.
