Job summary

Michigan Schools & Government Credit Union (MSGCU) is seeking a Community Relations/Business Development professional in Michigan to advance membership and loan activity through community events, presentations, and partnerships.

The role collaborates with Marketing and Branch teams to deliver outreach, educate prospective members, and build relationships with schools, government groups, and local organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Education or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of sales, field marketing, teaching or community relations experience, preferably within the financial industry or a closely related field.
• 1 year of project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent MSGCU at community and member events and drive membership growth.
• Coordinate programs to increase membership, services, and loan activity.
• Deliver informational presentations to groups of prospective members.
• Build relationships with membership groups and keep stakeholders informed.
• Develop and manage community relations initiatives and budgets.
• Prepare and present workplace education and school presentations.
