MSU Federal Credit Union in East Lansing, MI is seeking a Community Engagement Intern for Winter/Spring 2027 to support high-impact outreach programs and events that showcase the Credit Union’s partnerships with the community.

You will collaborate with community partners, internal teams, volunteers, and management to plan and execute programs while developing career readiness competencies defined by NACE.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing Associate or Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, education, graphic design, or business preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous work experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to commute to events in East Lansing, Lansing, and surrounding communities.

Aufgaben

• Develop high impact events and programs supporting community involvement.
• Write and design event communications for distribution throughout the community and campus.
• Assist with special projects and programs to ensure success of the program.
• Take photographs and video related to community events for materials and history.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and facilitating community events.
• Meet biweekly with the Community Engagement team for progress and guidance.
• Support administrative tasks to prepare for programs and presentations.
