Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers seeks a Community Liaison to support after-school programs by building positive relationships with participants, families, and the community. Responsibilities include supervising sign-ins/outs, maintaining accurate rosters and daily head counts, and communicating program events and schedules.

The role is on-site with training at various sites, including Little Tokyo. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and proactive, able to work independently or with a team, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance.
• TB Test clearance.
• First Aid & CPR certification (provided by WR).
• 6 months experience supervising a group of children in a school or recreational setting OR 6 units in child development.
• Must pass an assessment test evaluating math, reading comprehension, and spelling.
• For ABC Unified School District (Cerritos) Candidates ONLY - 48+ College Units or ABC Unified Paraeducator Test Completion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students are safe and foster an inclusive, welcoming environment.
• Assist with sign-in/out procedures and parent communication during sign-out.
• Monitor attendance and engagement in activities.
• Organize participant registration forms and site information binder.
• Assist site coordinator with cycle reports and other required reports.
• Support site-based events and staff development trainings.
