Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers seeks a Community Liaison to support after-school programs by building positive relationships with participants, families, and the community. You will oversee daily sign-ins/outs, keep attendance rosters accurate, and communicate program events and field trips to families.

The role is on-site with occasional trainings at our Little Tokyo office and various school sites. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, energetic, and able to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance is required.
• TB Test clearance is required.
• First Aid & CPR certification is required.
• 6 months experience supervising children or 6 units in child development.
• For ABC Unified School District candidates, 48+ college units or Paraeducator Test completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students are safe physically and emotionally.
• Assist with sign-in/out procedures and parent communication.
• Monitor attendance and engagement in program activities.
• Organize registration forms and site information binder.
• Support site coordinators with cycle reports and other required reports.
• Attend staff trainings and participate in field trips when needed.
• Substitute for clubs when needed and build positive relationships.
