Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers in Inglewood, CA seeks a Community Liaison to support after-school programs by building positive relationships with youth, families, and the community. This on-site position helps manage daily sign-ins, updates to the communication board, and timely family notifications.

The role requires 20-25 hours per week with possible evenings, weekends, and trainings. Emphasis on safety, inclusivity, and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Child Development preferred.
• Previous experience with K-12 students preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass an assessment of math, reading and spelling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily sign-ins and sign-outs for participants.
• Keep the communication board up to date and inform families of events.
• Support site coordinators with attendance and records.
• Attend trainings and participate in field trips as required.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment for youth.
