Northwest Classical Academy seeks a full-time Community Engagement Director. The Community Engagement Director (CED) is a member of the senior leadership team responsible for campus communications, fundraising, and the Parent Volunteer Association. The CED reports to the Head of School and receives support from the Advancement and Communications staff of the school’s charter management organization (Liberty Classical Schools). The role involves working with volunteers and colleagues to strengthen the school community through volunteer engagement, fundraising, and storytelling about classical education's impact. It is ideal for an organized, creative, relationship-driven individual who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Marketing and Communications: Create a storytelling culture, support marketing across departments, supervise the Communications Assistant, manage social media channels, and ensure website accuracy.
  • Fundraising: Execute the annual Spartan Fund campaign, identify major gift prospects, develop materials, plan events, implement the Business Partners program, and manage on-campus campaigns.
  • Volunteer Support and Community Building: Oversee the Parent Volunteer Association, foster relationships with community members, engage in outreach, and attend school events.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least five years of related experience in marketing and fundraising.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in education is preferred but not required.

Qualified candidates will support the school’s mission to develop students in mind and character through a classical curriculum emphasizing virtues, traditional learning, and civic responsibility. Located in Kennesaw, NCA is a public charter school serving grades K-11 for the 2025-2026 year, with plans to expand to K-12.
