Job summary

Opportunity Builders, Inc. seeks a Manager to lead Day Habilitation and CDS programs, supervise staff, and ensure engaging monthly calendars across five domains.

You will collaborate with the Activities Coordinator, develop community partnerships, and oversee operations to deliver high-quality services. The role requires a minimum 4 years in developmental disabilities and 2+ years supervisory experience, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• At least 2 years of prior supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of people including staff, individuals served and families.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• High degree of creativity and autonomy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to conduct community resource mapping, outreach, and develop effective working relationships.
• Valid Driver’s license, clean driving record and daily access to a reliable vehicle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Word and Excel documents.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and train qualified staff to provide quality supports.
• Provide effective and respectful support and direct supervision to assigned staff.
• Serve as a role model for staff and uphold customer service expectations.
• Monitor staff duties for attendance and progress notes, and monthly calendars.
• Complete timely performance evaluations for employees under supervision.
• Manage payroll and client management software for accuracy and timeliness.
• Support Activities Coordinator in creating a master monthly calendar.
• Ensure five domains are included in daily activity offerings.
• Develop community partnerships and maintain records of partners and sites.
• Provide transportation when needed using personal or company vehicles.
