Job summary

Opportunity Builders, Inc. seeks a dedicated manager to lead the Day Habilitation and CDS teams, supervising DSPs and the Activities Coordinator. You will craft a robust monthly activity calendar across five domains and build partnerships throughout the community to expand opportunities for participants.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, creativity, and autonomy in a fast-paced setting. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• At least 2 years of prior supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to communicate with a wide range of people including staff, individuals served and families.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• High degree of creativity and autonomy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to conduct community resource mapping, outreach and develop effective working relationships.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and daily access to a reliable vehicle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word and Excel familiarity.
• Ability to report to the office and/or community locations five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and train staff to provide quality supports.
• Provide effective and respectful supervision to assigned staff.
• Supervise staff and model participant interactions and customer service.
• Develop monthly calendars with activities across five domains.
• Collaborate to build community partnerships and resources.
• Train staff on transportation and vehicle procedures.
