American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is hiring a Member Engagement Coordinator to support Communities of Practice, coordinate online engagement activities, and drive member onboarding, recognition, and retention.

The role is hybrid with the headquarters in Alexandria, VA; candidates must live within 75 miles and be able to work onsite as needed. The position emphasizes strong communication, relationship-building, and program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 1-3 years professional experience, nonprofit/association favored.
• Understanding of virtual communities.
• Proficiency with online community platforms (Higher Logic).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Communities of Practice. Foster engagement and coordinate with internal teams.
• Assess and improve community activities using feedback and metrics.
• Plan and execute virtual events, webinars, and meetings.
• Provide community feedback to stakeholders and drive improvements.
• Facilitate member engagement initiatives to enhance onboarding and retention.
• Analyze member engagement trends for insights.
• Nurture new member onboarding and early engagement.
• Coordinate member recognition initiatives and tracking.
• Support renewal communications and member outreach.
