Job summary

Families Forward, a member of The Fedcap Group, is seeking an Education and Training Instructor to deliver Power of Possible and Life Skills workshops at our South Paris, ME center. The role focuses on helping participants become job-ready through structured curricula and engaged instruction.

The instructor will lead ESOL sessions, apply progressive learning, and support participants toward work experiences and employment outcomes, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating adult education or workforce development programs.
• Ability to engage participants and manage diverse learning needs.
• Comfort delivering structured curricula and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver POP and Life Skills workshops as scheduled, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and adherence to curriculum standards.
• Facilitate ESOL ENGEN classroom sessions and support language learning.
• Lead high-energy sessions with active participant involvement from start to finish.
• Prepare materials and technology in advance for uninterrupted delivery.
• Assess participant engagement and readiness for work, and guide progression into next steps.
• Collaborate with Career Advisors and Placement Specialists for alignment of training and plans.
• Track attendance and participant progress in FedcapCARES within 1 business day.
