Job summary

Huddle House is seeking a General Manager to run a profitable restaurant and ensure quality of service and guest satisfaction. You will create a positive work environment and coach, mentor, and care for your people.

The incumbent will manage budgets, oversee daily unit paperwork, and maintain cleanliness while building community presence to drive business and sales. This is a hands-on restaurant leadership role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with hourly associates.
• Ability to cover all shifts during normal operation of the unit.
• Previous restaurant experience required.
• Current ServSafe Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed budgets while focusing cost of goods sold and EBITDA.
• Manage all daily paperwork at the unit level including sales reports and payroll data.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the unit.
• Complete monthly inspection of the unit using the Unit Inspection form.
• Order all food and supplies needed to operate the unit daily.
• Hire and discipline staff members.
• Develop staff to assume duties when you are out of the unit.
• Hold monthly meetings with employees to discuss operations.
• Establish a visible community presence to drive business and sales.
• Enforce brand standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure payroll data and timesheets are completed correctly.
• Train staff in POS systems, back-of-house and front-of-house operations.
• Notify the District Manager or VP of Operations of hurdles to success.
