Sunwest Bank is seeking an AVP, Community Development Specialist to lead CRA-aligned community development programs. You will oversee employee volunteer initiatives, build nonprofit partnerships, and coordinate engagement with community organizations across the bank’s footprint.

The role requires a strong background in community development, nonprofit relations, and CRA compliance, with excellent communication and project-management skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, public administration, nonprofit management, community development, or related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in community development, nonprofit relations, corporate philanthropy, employee volunteerism, banking, CRA compliance, or community engagement.
• Ability to independently manage multiple programs, relationships, projects, and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail, particularly in recordkeeping and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Review community development needs within CRA assessment areas through outreach and relationships with nonprofit organizations, community leaders, public-sector organizations, economic development organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and administer employee volunteer and community service programs supporting CRA objectives.
• Build nonprofit partnerships for volunteer, technical assistance, financial education, leadership, grants, and other community development opportunities.
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, volunteer activities, and engagement between nonprofit partners and Bank employees.
• Guide employees on CRA community development service requirements and documentation, and assist with related training and communications.
• Participate in Sunwest Bank Charitable Foundation initiatives, including nonprofit outreach, grant-related activities, and community events.
• Work with the CRA and Fair and Responsible Banking Officer to implement the Bank's broader CRA strategy.
