Job summary

Cathay Bank in California seeks an AVP, Community Outreach Officer (Project Management) to lead CRA outreach efforts with nonprofits and CDFIs, plan and document development activities, and ensure CRA performance.

You will coordinate external and internal outreach to boost small business and mortgage lending to low-to-moderate income borrowers, develop financial literacy training, and monitor progress against goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance required.
• 3–5+ years in banking, community development, or CRA-related roles.
• Proven ability to build partnerships and coordinate outreach.

Responsibilities

• Develop CRA outreach plans with nonprofits and CDFIs.
• Coordinate and document community development activities.
• Prepare quarterly CRA reports and tracking data.
• Represent the bank at outreach events and galas.
