Job summary

Signature Health Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Specialist, Crisis Intervention & QMHS to deliver community-based behavioral health support. The role emphasizes rapid response, crisis intervention, care coordination, and family engagement to assist clients with mental health needs.

You will coordinate resources, document care, and collaborate with treatment teams while following safety and professional standards. QBHS or PSS designation and Ohio driving eligibility required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor degree in a related social services field preferred.
• QBHS designation or Peer Support Specialist (PSS) with crisis experience preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and insurance required.
• Minimum one year of case management, crisis, or behavioral health experience preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of local mental health systems and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and present treatment program work material and skill-building interventions.
• Operate primarily in community-based settings per treatment plans and agency policies.
• Identify and support client needs related to education, medical care, housing, and recovery supports.
• Provide rapid response and crisis intervention in community or home settings.
• Coordinate care and link individuals to appropriate treatment services and resources.
• Maintain electronic client charting and documentation per standards.
