Job summary

Signature Health is seeking a Crisis Intervention Specialist to provide rapid response and early intervention for individuals in behavioral health crisis across community, home, and facility settings. Reporting to the Program Manager, Crisis Services, you will help de-escalate crises and connect clients to appropriate treatment.

The role requires QBHS or PSS, valid Ohio driver's license, BLS, and ability to work evenings.

Qualifications

• QBHS designation or Peer Support Specialist (PSS) with at least 1 year in substance use and mental health.
• Crisis experience preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide de-escalation and crisis intervention to individuals in crisis.
• Problem-solve with individuals to resolve crisis or arrange appropriate treatment.
• Engage family and support systems in safety planning and crisis resolution.
• Create immediate safety plans and coordinate care with treatment services.
• Follow up within two business days to check referrals and needs.
• Maintain clinical and administrative files and participate in meetings.
