AbilityFirst seeks a Community Coach I to support individuals with developmental disabilities through structured programming at the East Los Angeles Center. You will help clients achieve personal goals, promote independence, and encourage community integration through person-centered activities.

The role requires hands-on support, daily documentation, and collaboration with the team to reflect each participant’s PCP goals.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 12 ECE college units may be required for childcare programs.
• Ability to lift and provide physical assistance to participants.

Aufgaben

• Actively supervise participants; ensure health, safety and engagement.
• Follow PCP goals; implement daily activities and plans.
• Complete accurate daily progress documentation.
• Assist participants with personal care as needed.
• Drive agency vehicles or accompany participants when approved.
