Job summary

The Salvation Army Grand Rapids Kroc Center seeks a General Manager to provide leadership, oversight and administration for the Kroc Center. You will supervise the director team, manage capital projects, budgets, and coordinate with HQ and the Marketing Director to meet strategic objectives.

You will lead the leadership team, ensure risk management, program quality and community engagement, while representing the Center in public forums and events.

Qualifications

• Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, Recreation Management, Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, or relevant field.
• Minimum five years of experience in program development, planning, management, and evaluation for non-profit programs, including administering budgets, planning, staff development, membership service and community relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the center.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget.
• Coordinate with Senior Kroc Officer and Directors on strategy and priorities.
• Ensure risk management, safety procedures and center standards are maintained.
• Lead staff, management team and committees to achieve objectives.
